About the homes

Fewcott House Nursing Home

Fewcott House is a Care Home with Nursing, registered for 35 clients who require 24 hour nursing care, either long or short term, or for day care.  Our home is for clients of either sex, particularly the elderly, those who suffer from Parkinson's disease, dementia or mental disorder, and people with Learning Disabilities who also suffer from dementia.

We offer tailored holidays designed around an individual's hobbies and interests, including a wide variety of therapies & activities. These can be booked ahead to allow carers to plan their own breaks.

Our expertise in palliative care was recognised by Oxfordshire PCT when we piloted a Rapid Response service to cut down hospital admissions for patients on the End of Life pathway, and alleviate stress for patients and their families.

Since first opening in 1985, we have striven to provide the best possible nursing care for each individual resident, within a home-like, family environment.  This impressive manor house dates from 1680, and is set in rural surroundings with a stream flowing through three acres of mature and level gardens.

Situated in the village of Fewcott (also known as Ardley-with-Fewcott), approximately 4 miles north of Bicester in rural north Oxfordshire, we are easily accessible by road, being barely ½ a mile from junction 10 of the M40 [for SatNav please use OX27 7NX]
